| For the last ten years, Urban Improv has been performing fast, furious, f*cking funny improv comedy in Vancouver. Urban Improv can be seen every Monday night at Chivana Restaurant & Lounge (2340 W4th Ave, Vancouver) for a mere seven bucks. Their style of improv is a bastardization of the classic "Harold" format, which ends up looking a lot like improvised sketch comedy. Featuring an A-list of award winning Canadian comedic talent, Urban Improv has been nominated for three Canadian Comedy Awards for "Best Improv Group", and some day might even win! They have worked with guest stars such as Shaun Majumder, Colin Mochrie, Will Sasso and Ryan Stiles. Urban Improv is comedy that crosses the line. |
